The Salvage Waistlace is a collaboration between Brooklyn-based sculptor Iulian Budea (Instagram @iulianbudea.fineart) and JUPITER crafted from used motorcycle chains, stainless steel hardware, and rose brass embellishments.  Motorcycle chains are cured to withstand insane abuse so manipulating these metals in a precious capacity requires significant skill.  All pieces are finished with a unique surface crackling and with the Iulian Budea and JUPITER marks etched into the chain links.  Salvage was designed as a standalone aesthetic statement or for use as a key chain.
